Take me out to the ball game!
August 18th, 2010
The staff and doctors at Hunkeler Eye Institute enjoyed a night out at the T-Bones baseball game. If you haven’t checked out this local team you should! It has a great home town feel and we had a great time watching the team beat out the Winnipeg Goldeyes 6 to 1.
“My vision is better than perfect”
July 19th, 2010
My experience with Dr. Boomer and Hunkeler eye Institute has been outstanding. The most amazing part is that my vision is better than perfect and I don’t have to hassle with contacts anymore. This in and of itself is enough to express my satisfaction with Dr. Boomer, however, I want to share more. From the initial phone call I made inquiring about LASIK surgery, to my consultation, exam, surgery, and follow-up appointments I was treated as though my needs were their top priority. The ladies who answer the phone are friendly, polite, and helpful. The take a personal interest in every patient and it shows. As the entire staff at Hunkeler Eye Institute are eager to assist, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. I had the most interaction with Dr. Boomer, Margie, and Erin. They all treated me as if my time was every bit as important as theirs. I was taken right in each time I arrived for an appointment and I never had to wait. During my consultation, I met with Dr. Boomer himself and he patiently explained the entire procedure and answered my questions. I was very impressed by this as I had been to a consultation at a different eye center and did not even get to meet the physician who would perform the procedure. Before having LASIK, I researched several options and eye centers, but once I met with Dr. Boomer and his staff, I immediately felt comfortable with my decision to go through with the surgery. My choice proved to be the right one as the staff continually worked to keep me at-ease and spoke reassuringly to me during the entire procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Boomer and Hunkeler Eye Institute for anyone who is considering eye surgery. They are experts at answering your questions, explaining your options and implementing the best possible course of action to improve your vision.
